What If I Went To A Psychologist....?

I know the records are confidental but just the knowledge that there are records says something. Maybe the question on a questionaire might be, "Have you been treated by a Psychologist.." My question is: can you think of any rights that you would loose by answering the affirmative on the above question. (like maybe buying a weapon)
