Bored rabbit... new friend ?

rabbits are undoubtedly social animals. They are definitely happiest with a compatible mate. Compatible is key though and bonding can be tricky with some. If you do choose to get her a friend start with both being fixed. Male-female pairs are generally easier bonds. Start with side by side cages and after a couple weeks introduce in small easy to control neutral territory, a small bathroom works well. You do need to be on your toes though because fights can break out quickly and get vicious so have a heavy towel ready to toss over somebun if you need to do a quick separation(don't ever use your bare hands). Sometimes you get a pair that just clicks and bonds easily within a few weeks. I had a pair that bonded in a day but one that took a year. Most where several weeks.
