Can you hook a gas stove to a 5 gallon propane tank?

HVAC Tech.: I converted my cook stove from Natural gas to bottle propane. The pipe with the orifice had to be reversed ad I hoked it to a 17 gal. bottle that lasts me about a year and I keep a 5 gal. bottle as back up. Many stoves come with the reversible orifice so check with your appliance dealer to see if yours has that feature. Good Luck!
