Is there a big asteroid heading for earth on december 21frst 2012?

i would like to no if there is a big asteroid comming from earth people are saying that nasa is trying to conver it up, and not warn the public, because it would make the world go crazy, so why would they keep that secret we all deserve to no if we are going to die or not.
